They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder. But, it does not make missing your friend any lesser. You may dream of traveling to visit them, but the odds may not be in your favor. Chances are, you cant afford it. So, these are five gifts to say tu me manques or ik mis je or te echo de menos. Wherever they are in the world, theyll hear the I miss you loud and clear.
Travel Journal
This was perfect for when she was about to leave. But, you were busy crying your eyes out that you forgot to give her gifts. It is never too late to send a new travel journal. She probably filled up their old journal by now. Lucky her! You can ask her to write experiences that she could read for you the next time you talk. You may not be together, but at least you get to share your experiences. Maybe you could also share your own to her. Update her of the new boy you met or hows her ex-boyfriend now.

Surprise her, and have a bouquet of flowers delivered at her place. You tap online flower shops to deliver pretty blooms to let her know that you are missing her. This may be a gesture she needs living so far away from home. Youll never know that it lifts her spirit up after a stressful day at work or from school. You can even customize your flower present with a personalized message saying that you are thinking of her. This will definitely make her miss home a little less.

This old school gadget is both chic and trendy. Perfect with the travel journal, she can paste pictures of the beautiful places she has been, the cute guys next door or her new friends. This will allow her to keep important moments that she does not want to share with anybody on social media. Also, she can spend some of her alone time making creative journal entries with lots and lots of pictures. Imagine the fun you will have browsing through them when she comes to visit you.

Send her a piece of home with a special package. This is a box of goodies full stuff she enjoys like the local chocolate she keeps under your pillow during one of those sleepless sleepovers. Remind her of the best things at home by including some of her mothers preserved food and some local delicacies. You can ask close friends and the rest of her family to contribute thing that she will be happy to have. This will remind her that she is loved, and the rest of the gang awaits her return.
You may not have the finances to visit her, but, you can definitely reach her in so many ways. The best gift you could ever give her is time– your time. You can even organize a virtual sleepover with the rest of the clique.
