Westquip Honored with ASEC Certification

Oklahoma City, OK — (January 10, 2011) – Westquip, the leading Toyota forklifts dealer in Oklahoma, was recently honored with Toyota Material Handling U.S.A.’s prestigious After Sales Service Evaluation & Certification award (ASEC). The ASEC award is a direct means by which numerous measurements are taken in regards to every aspect of materials handling, from service department paperwork flow to administration and building layout. Toyota has set forth this certification as a standard for excellence in service to Toyota forklift customers.
Many of the high quality standards of Toyota’s materials handling operations are directly inherited from the car business. ASEC is one such innovation. Across Toyota’s worldwide dealer network, Toyota determines how to improve every aspect of their service – from procedures to personnel and services to safety.
It takes a sincere effort and dedication of all the employees at a dealership to pass the criteria to become eligible for an ASEC award. The dealership is measured and graded on 132 different supporting operations within the service and parts departments.
Areas that are reviewed include facilities, training, safety, delivery, parts inventory, service vehicles, and equipment. Each of these areas are completely inspected, reviewed, and documented. Areas of deficiency are noted, action plans are created to correct those deficiencies and the areas are then re-evaluated and graded to ensure compliance.
The ASEC award criteria was created to help increase the level of efficiency and improve the overall service and parts operations of dealerships, which greatly enhances the level of customer service and satisfaction that dealerships provide. In July, Toyota’s Regional Customer Service Manager, Rick Kitter presented the ASEC award to Westquip’s president, Fred Stanley and Jim Greenlee (General Manager), Larry Denson (Parts Manager), and Jason Perry (Service Manager).
